Information you provide

CaloMenu may process menu photos or files, restaurant and menu text, nutrition preferences, allergy notes, profile information, saved meals, and support communications. If account or subscription features are enabled, we may also receive account identifiers, email addresses, and purchase status.

How information is used

• Analyze menu items and provide estimated nutrition and meal suggestions.
• Save preferences, favorites, and meal history.
• Operate accounts, subscriptions, support, security, and fraud prevention.
• Maintain and improve the service and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

Information may be processed by vendors that help operate CaloMenu, such as hosting, database and authentication, artificial-intelligence processing, app-store purchase management, and customer-support providers. Their processing is limited to providing those services under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Menu images

Menu images are used to provide analysis. Avoid including faces, payment cards, medical records, or other unnecessary personal information in an image. Retention depends on the configured production service; images should be deleted or de-identified when no longer needed to provide, secure, or legally support the service.

Device permissions

CaloMenu requests camera and photo-library access only when you choose to photograph or select a menu. You can change permission settings on your device.

Retention and deletion

Device-only profile data can be deleted inside the app. For a cloud account, request deletion at our deletion page. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or law.

Children

CaloMenu is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards, but no network or storage method is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Your choices

You can decline camera access, remove local data, request cloud-account deletion, or contact us about access or correction. Rights vary by location.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
